Your wedding is an important ritual that marks the beginning of a new life together. Everything from the engagement announcement to the dress rehearsal to the actual wedding service and then all the pictures at the following reception will be cherished moments that you will enjoy for the rest of your life together. This is not the time to let "Uncle Charlie snap a few pics" just because he has a new cool looking camera. This is an occasion that requires someone to record your wedding day in an elegant manner by either film or digital format. Basically, you are hiring a professional photographer to capture and preserve the emotions shared with your new life mate, your family and all the friends that you have chosen to be a part of your wedding day.
With over 30 years of experience in both wedding and portrait photography, I can help you preserve these memories that will last more than a lifetime and will be cherished by you, your children and your grand children. My camera equipment includes the Mamiya RB67, the time-tested industry standard in 120 roll film format with negatives that are over 4 times larger than those from a standard 35 mm camera to ensure sharp, crystal clear prints up to 16 X 20 inches in size. My digital camera is the 8 megabyte Sony which can easily produce prints of the same size and quality. Clients have the option of choosing their photo locations or using any of my suggested locations, including an on-site studio with a choice of backdrops.
Northland Paradise Lodge also offers year-around accommodations for you, your wedding party and your guests. We have a total of 8 housekeeping units and/or motel units that can comfortably accommodate up to 36 people. These quotes are for local weddings in or close to Temagami and Marten River. Out of town weddings can be arranged with an additional mileage charge. All of the above Packages are flexible and can be customized according to your personal requirements.
All bookings require a non-refundable 50% deposit with reservations, an additional 25% on the day of the wedding and the remaining 25% on delivery of the CD and/or prints.
